Al-Asr Karbala Project

In 2009, Al-Asr Community Trust built the Hussainia Imam al-Asr al-Pakistania and Clinic in Karbala. Approximately $800K was spent. Alhamdullillah, This was completed mainly by investing in an amount received through donations and gathered an enhanced confidence of the pilgrims in general, especially Pakistani pilgrims.

In 2014, due to the expansion projects of the holy shrines, the Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) Shrine bought this land along with the building. Since then, Al-Asr Community Trust has rented a building at $12,000 per annum for 3 years to continue providing services for the pilgrims and especially providing health services and running the clinic.

Al-Asr Community Trust is working consistently and persistently in the field of medical relief in cooperation with Imamia Medics International USA and Beta Charitable Trust UK.

Hussainia Imam Al-Asr Clinic offers a free medical clinic with a laboratory for the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and for Iraqi people. The clinic provides FREE diagnosis and medical treatment. It has a team of well experienced General Physicians, a male nurse and a medical laboratory on site, which is run by an experienced lab attendant. The Laboratory equipment caters for minor chemical tests.

Haram Expansion

In 2015, the building was taken over by the Haram of Imam Hussain (‘a) to clear the way for expansion of the holy shrine. We are thankful to all the donors and volunteers who took part in this project. May Allah (swt) reward you and your families.
